Earthing Sticks should only be used after the usual methods of making safe have been performed. Equipment should be switched off, isolated, and earthed. In addition to this, the use of an earthing stick gives good back-up protection.

The Earthing Stick can be used to ensure no dielectric charge remains in the electrical/electronic unit to ensure personnel safety at all times.

The earthing Stick can be supplied as an assembled item, or broken down in its component parts for ease of packaging, and shipping.

The earthing cable is 6mm square copper rope type cable with clear silicone rubber halogen free sheath

The tip is made from aluminium with a phosphor bronze hook.
